Queers Amongst the Stars returns on Saturday, June 13th for a campy, cosmic queer club night full of cider, dancing, and intergalactic revelry. This year, we’re thrilled to welcome special guests Femme Fatales Vinyl Club, bringing their signature dynamic tunes, glamour, and out-of-this-world energy to the dance floor for one unforgettable night among the stars.

Everyone is welcome at this event. There’s no cover, but we’ll be raising funds for the Shenandoah LGBTQ Center, and donations are encouraged.

Speed Mingle is back! Hosted by the Shenandoah LGBTQ Center in partnership with Ciders From Mars, this lively, fast-paced mixer is a great way to meet new people and spark new friendships in a relaxed, low-pressure setting.
Purchase your ticket and register in advance – space is limited and spots will fill quickly! A portion of all ticket sales will support the Shenandoah LGBTQ Center.
Tickets are $10 and include entry to the event plus one beverage. All ticket sales are final.

The beloved tradition returns! Join us on Saturday, May 16th for WQSV’s 5th Annual Chicken Salad-Off Competition – where Staunton’s most delicious creations go head-to-head in an epically flavorful showdown.
Contestants will compete for the coveted first place title, as our panel of judges conducts a blind tasting to crown this year’s champion. But the real power is in your hands: grab a fork, sample the entries, and cast your vote for the People’s Choice Award!
Your $20 ticket gets you access to all the tastings plus a lively soundtrack spun by some of your favorite WQSV DJs. Best of all, every bite supports your community radio station, helping keep the airwaves local, independent, and commercial-free.

New Directions Center is bringing their popular BINGO Fundraiser back to the taproom on the third Thursday of each month! All Bingo card sales support the important work they do to help reduce the impact of intimate partner violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking.
